SEND & SEMH Support

Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in their learning, including those who may need a different approach. I offer personalised SEND tuition in Havant and Portsmouth, supporting primary-aged children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. As a qualified primary teacher with experience supporting children with additional needs, I understand the importance of adapting teaching to suit each individual. Sessions are carefully structured around your child's strengths, interests and learning needs, using practical resources, visual supports, repetition and targeted interventions to develop essential maths, English and reading skills. Whether your child experiences difficulties with processing information, attention, literacy or accessing classroom learning, I provide patient, flexible teaching with clear learning goals. I also support children who are home educated or accessing education outside mainstream school, helping them develop their academic skills at a pace that works for them. My aim is to provide meaningful, individualised teaching that helps children make progress while feeling understood, supported and capable of achieving.
